Pricing and Credit Details

Buzzbin manages review spend with an IRR wallet, while model infrastructure costs are calculated in USD. Each run follows a clear path from model price to Rial wallet charge.

How run cost is calculated

For AI-consuming runs, calculation works like this:

  1. Buzzbin records the run's input and output tokens.
  2. The run reads its snapshotted model prices.
  3. Platform markup or commission is applied.
  4. The final USD amount is converted to IRR using the current FX rate.
  5. The IRR amount is deducted from available wallet balance.

Historical runs are not repriced when model prices or markup change, because the effective price and markup are snapshotted when the run starts.

Signup free credit

New organizations may receive signup credit. The platform admin configures this credit in USD, and Buzzbin converts it to IRR at the FX rate in effect when the credit is granted.

If a reliable FX rate is unavailable when the wallet is created, Buzzbin creates the wallet without the credit and retries the grant on a later wallet access. Organization creation does not fail just because FX is temporarily unavailable.

FX and IRR/USD

Your wallet is Rial-native. Model cost is calculated in USD, then converted to IRR at run time. Buzzbin reads market rates so the charged infrastructure cost is not below the actual USD exposure.

Two similar reviews can therefore have different IRR costs on different days, even when the model's USD cost is unchanged.

Markup and commission

Buzzbin applies commission on top of model cost. The effective rate may differ by task or enterprise agreement, but the rate used for a run is stored with that run. This keeps billing auditable: each settled run can be traced to its model price, FX rate, and markup.

Pay-as-you-go and enterprise commitments

The standard model is pay-as-you-go: top up the wallet and each review draws down only what it uses.

Larger enterprise accounts can use committed prepayment, bonus credit, or a better effective commission. This reuses the same wallet and ledger; the difference is commercial terms and effective rate, not a separate billing engine.

What affects cost

  • selected review and answer models
  • diff size and number of reviewable files
  • number of MRs and pushes
  • enabled capabilities such as comment answers or title generation
  • ignored paths and enabled finding categories
  • FX rate on the run date
